Brian Griese was born in Miami, Florida. He is a former American football quarterback and former radio color commentator for the Denver Broncos. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played high school football at Christopher Columbus High School and later college football at Michigan. He has also played for the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is the son of Hall of Fame quarterback Bob Griese, a Dolphins legend. He has been awarded the 2011 Patterson Award for Excellence in Sports Philanthropy.
