Harold Herman Greene was born in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He was nominated by President Jimmy Carter in 1978. He received a BA degree in 1949 from George Washington University and law degree in 1952 from George Washington University Law School.
