Hans Jürgen Eysenck was born in Berlin, Germany. He was a German-born British psychologist. He is best remembered for his work on intelligence and personality, although he worked in a wide range of areas within psychology. He received his PhD in Psychology from University College London in 1940. He was Professor of Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, from 1955 to 1983. He wrote several books include: The structure of human personality, Uses and abuses of psychology, Know Your Own I.Q., Fact and Fiction in Psychology, and The Biological Basis of Personality.
