James Thaddeus "Jim" Goad was born in Pennsylvania, USA. He is an American author. As a teenager he wanted to move to New York City to study acting and was accepted to study at New York University under Stella Adler. He earned a BA degree in Journalism from Temple University in 1986. He has written several books include: Answer Me!, The Redneck Manifesto, Shit Magnet, and Jim Goad's Gigantic Book of Sex.
