Ira Jeffrey Glass was born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is an American public radio personality, film producer and the host and producer of the radio and television show This American Life. He studied at Northwestern University and graduated from Brown University in 1982. He has worked in public radio for some 30 years. He was a reporter and host on several NPR programs, including Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Talk of the Nation. He produced several films include: Freezing People Is Easy, Sleepwalk with Me, and Don't Think Twice.
