Gerald C. "Jerry" Weller was born in Streator, Illinois, USA. He is an American Republican politician who served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Illinois's 11th congressional district from 1995-2009. In 1988, he was elected to the Illinois House of Representatives where he served until 1994. He earned a BS degree in agriculture from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign in 1979.
