Gene Ween is the stage name of Aaron Freeman was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. He is an American composer and guitarist. He is a founding member of the experimental alternative rock group Ween. He, along with childhood friend Dean Ween, started the group in the mid-1980s. He announced his departure from Ween in 2012, shortly after releasing Marvelous Clouds, his first solo album. In 2014 he formed a new five-piece band called "Freeman." His albums list is shown below: The Pod, Pure Guava, Chocolate and Cheese, The Mollusk, White Pepper, Quebec, Freeman, Z-Rock Hawaii, and Synthetic Socks.
