Carson Jones Daly was born in Santa Monica, California. He is an American television host, radio personality, producer and television personality. He was a VJ on MTV's Total Request Live, and a DJ for the Southern California based radio station 106.7 KROQ-FM. In 2011, he began a prominent role at NBC, hosting its reality music competition The Voice. In 2013, he joined NBC's morning show Today as a social media correspondent. He hosts a weekly top 30 countdown show "The Daly Download with Carson Daly" which is produced by CBS Radio and syndicated though Westwood One. He also co-founded an independent record label named 456 Entertainment.
