Gerald Gersham Jampolsky was born in Long Beach, California, USA. He is a child and adult psychiatrist and a graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine. In 1975, he founded the first Center for Attitudinal Healing, in Tiburon, California. Now there are independent Centers for Attitudinal Healing throughout the world on five continents in dozens of countries, offering free services for children, adolescents and adults. Today he writes more books devoted to his patients in the center, visited the centers for subjective healing and holds lectures or gives seminars. He has written several books include: Love is Letting Go of Fear, Teach Only Love, Love Is the Answer: Creating Postive Relationships, Change Your Mind, Change Your Life, Forgiveness: The Greatest Healer of All, and Shortcuts to God. He is also a recipient of the Jehan Sadat Peace Award, Martin Luther King Peace Prize, and Pride in the Profession Award.
