Jerry Chih-Yuan Yang was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He is a Taiwanese-born American Internet entrepreneur and programmer. He is the co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo! Inc. He earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He founded Yahoo! in 1994, served as CEO from 2007 to 2009. He left Yahoo! in 2012.
