He starred in Schumacher's psychological thriller Phone Booth and the American thrillers S.W.A.T. and The Recruit, establishing his international box-office appeal. He appeared in Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi thriller Minority Report and as the villain Bullseye in the Daredevil superhero film. In 2015, he stars in the second season of HBO's True Detective series with Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams.
