George William Domhoff was born in Youngstown, Ohio, USA. He is an American research professor in psychology and sociology at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1969-1975. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Duke University in 1958, a Master of Arts in Psychology at Kent State University in 1959, and a Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Miami in 1962. He has written several books include: Who Rules America?, Finding Meaning in Dreams, The powers that be, and The Scientific Study of Dreams.
