Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris, France. She is a British actress and model. She graduated from Brown University with a bachelor's degree in English literature in 2014. She rose to prominence as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, appearing in all eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011, previously having acted only in school plays. She appeared in the popular films The Perks of Being a Wallflower and My Week with Marilyn.
