Henry Agard Wallace was born in Orient, Iowa, USA. He was an American politician. He was the 33rd Vice President of the United States, the Secretary of Agriculture, and the Secretary of Commerce. He was a strong supporter of New Deal liberalism, and softer policies towards the Soviet Union. In 1910, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in animal husbandry from Iowa State College at Ames, Iowa.
