Gerald Michael Rivera, better known as Geraldo Rivera was born in New York City, New York, USA. He is an American lawyer, journalist, and talk show host. In 1965, he graduated with a B.S. degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1969. He was hired by WABC-TV in 1970 as a reporter for Eyewitness News. He began to appear on ABC national programs such as 20/20 and Nightline. He also began hosting ABC's Good Night America. He was the host of the talk show Geraldo from 1987 to 1998. He hosted the newsmagazine program Geraldo at Large, hosts the occasional broadcast of Geraldo Rivera Reports, and appears regularly on Fox News Channel programs such as The Five.
