Mark Rude is an author and graphic illustrator who first began publishing a comic book series called "Passage" in 2005. The story of young Lady Cindra Corrina saw three issues printed before it was abandoned for a more appropriate format, the full length fantasy novel. Mark’s first novel, "The Gold Cat’s Daughter", was self-published in 2011 by Duck Castle Press.
