Kevin John Sutton, known professionally as Johnny Vegas was born in Thatto Heath, St Helens, Lancashire, England. He is an English actor and comedian, known for his angry rants, surreal humour, portly figure and high husky voice. He studied at St Joseph's College, Upholland, Lancashire. He also studied at Middlesex University. In 2014, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Edge Hill University. His role in several films include: The Virgin of Liverpool, Cheeky, Blackball, Sex Lives of the Potato Men, The Libertine, Grimsby, and Womble Movie. His role in television include: Happiness (TV series), Attention Scum (comedy series), Ideal (TV series), Benidorm (TV series), and Still Open All Hours (comedy series).
