Philip John Clapp Jr. better known by his stage name Johnny Knoxville was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. He is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, comedian and stunt performer. He is best known as a co-creator and star of the MTV reality stunt show Jackass, which aired for three seasons from 2000–2002. His role in several films include: Desert Blues, Coyote Ugly, Life Without Dick, Men in Black II, A Dirty Shame, The Dukes of Hazzard, The Ringer, Jackass Number Two (also producer, writer), Father of Invention, The Last Stand, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (also producer, writer), Skiptrace, Above Suspicion, Half Magic, and Action Point (upcoming film, also producer, writer). His role in television include: Wildboyz (TV series) and Nitro Circus (only creator and executive producer).
