John Keith Wozniak was born in Minnesota, USA. He is an American musician, best known as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of the band Marcy Playground. The band is best known for their 1997 hit "Sex and Candy" (written by John Wozniak). He studied at the Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington. His first solo effort was Zog BogBean - From the Marcy Playground, recorded in his own home in 1990.
