I got things like the lotus position long before anybody else did, or at least in the mainstream. But I had fun. I guess my legs are pretty flexible, so I used to get a kick out of doing things like that. I would get into a full lotus with my legs and then roll around.

John Allen Astin was born in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He is an American actor. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film for his directorial debut, a comedic short film entitled Prelude. He studied mathematics at Washington & Jefferson College. He earned a BA degree in Drama from Johns Hopkins University in 1952.
