Joel Steven Siegel was born in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an American film critic for the ABC morning news show Good Morning America for over 25 years. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles. He worked as a radio disc jockey and an advertising copywriter. He also worked as a joke writer for Senator Robert F. Kennedy.
