Mary Jodi Rell was born in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. She is an American Republican politician. She served as the 87th Governor of Connecticut from 2004-2011. She also served as the state's 85th Lieutenant Governor from 1995-2004. She served as a Connecticut State Representative from the 107th District from 1985-1995. She studied at Old Dominion University and Western Connecticut State University. She was married to Lou Rell in 1967. She has two children, Michael and Meredith.
