Joan Marques is an American educator, editor and author. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics. She earned an MBA degree from Woodbury University. She received her Ph.D. in Social Sciences from Tilburg University, Netherlands and an Ed.D. (Doctor of Education) in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She serves as Dean and Professor of Management at Woodbury University’s School of Business. She teaches courses related to leadership, ethics, and organizational behavior in the MBA and BBA programs, and presents regularly at academic and professional workshops. Her most recent co-edited works (with Dr. Satinder Dhiman) are, Leadership Today: Practices for Personal and Professional Performance, and Spirituality and Sustainability: New Horizons and Exemplary Approaches. Her most recent single-authored book is, Leadership: Finding Balance between Ambition and Acceptance.
