Gerald Isaac "Jerry" Stiller was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. He is an American comedian and actor. He spent many years in the comedy team Stiller and Meara with his wife, Anne Meara. He earned a bachelor's degree in Speech and Drama from Syracuse University in 1950. His role in several films include: Airport 1975, Seize the Day, Hot Pursuit, Highway to Hell, The Pickle, Heavyweights, Stag, A Fish in the Bathtub, The Independent, My 5 Wives, Zoolander, and The Heartbreak Kid. His role in television include: Joe and Sons (TV series), Madame X (TV film), The Other Woman (TV film), Tattingers (TV series), Sweet 15 (TV film), and The King of Queens (TV series). He is the author of book (memoir), entitled Married to Laughter: A Love Story Featuring Anne Meara.
