Jenny Han was born in Richmond, Virginia, USA. She is an American author of young adult fiction. She is the New York Times bestselling author of The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy, To All the Boys I've Loved Before trilogy, Burn for Burn trilogy, and Children's books (Shug, and Clara Lee and the Apple Pie Dream). She studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and later earned her MFA degree in creative writing at The New School.
