Jennifer Crusie was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio, USA. She is an American bestselling and award winning author of contemporary romance novels. She earned a BA degree in Art Education from Bowling Green State University. She earned her Master's degree in Professional Writing and Women's Literature from Wright State University. She earned her MFA degree in Fiction from Ohio State University. She has also completed all the coursework towards a PhD at Ohio State University. Crusie's first career was a teacher, beginning with pre-school, then elementary and junior high art, and high school. She has also taught at Antioch University, Wright State University, Ohio State, and McDaniel College. She has written several novels include: Manhunting, Getting Rid of Bradley, Strange Bedpersons, What the Lady Wants, Charlie All Night, Anyone But You, The Cinderella Deal, Trust Me on This, Tell Me Lies, Crazy for You, Welcome to Temptation, Fast Women, Faking It, Bet Me (Won- a Romance Writers of America Rita Award for Best Contemporary Single Title in 2005), Don't Look Down (with Bob Mayer), Agnes and the Hitman (with Bob Mayer), The Unfortunate Miss Fortunes (with Anne Stuart and Eileen Dreyer), Dogs and Goddesses (with Anne Stuart and Lani Diane Rich), Wild Ride (with Bob Mayer), and Maybe This Time.
