Jeff Lynne was born in Shard End, Birmingham, England. He is an English songwriter, musician, singer and record producer who gained fame in the 1970s as the lead singer and sole constant member of Electric Light Orchestra. He released two solo albums: Armchair Theatre in 1990 and Long Wave in 2012. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 as a member of Electric Light Orchestra.
