Jayne Ann Krentz was born in Cobb, California, USA. She is an American writer of romance novels. Under seven different pseudonyms, she has written more than 120 romance novels. She writes romantic-suspense in three different worlds: Contemporary as Jayne Ann Krentz, historical as Amanda Quick and futuristic as Jayne Castle. She earned a BA degree in History at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1970. She earned a Masters degree in Library Science(MLS) from San Jose State University. She worked for a year as an elementary school librarian. She has written several novels include: Running Hot, Fired Up, Sizzle and Burn, White Lies, All Night Long, Smoke in Mirrors, In Too Deep, Burning Lamp, Copper Beach, and Secret Sisters.
