Jay Scott Greenspan, known by his stage name Jason Alexander was born in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He is an American actor, comedian, voice actor, director and TV producer. He has had an active career on stage, appearing in several Broadway musicals including Jerome Robbins' Broadway in 1989, for which he won the Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical. His role in several films include: The Burning, Pretty Woman, Jacob's Ladder, Coneheads, North, The Return of Jafar(voice), Blankman, The Last Supper, For Better or Worse(also director), Love and Action in Chicago, Just Looking(also director), The Trumpet of the Swan(voice), Ira & Abby, Hood of Horror, Rock Slyde, and Wild Card. His role in television include: Rockabye(TV film), Everything's Relative(TV series), Seinfeld(TV comedy series, Won- American Comedy Award for Funniest Supporting Male Performer in a TV Series 1992–93, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, Nominated- Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor- Series, Miniseries or Television Film 1993–95, 1998, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series 1992–98), Duckman(voice), Aladdin(voice), Bob Patterson (TV series, also executive producer), and Listen Up!
