Howard Robard Hughes Jr. was born in Humble, Texas, USA. He was an American businessman, aviator, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and film producer. He produced several films include: The Racket, Hell's Angels(also director), Scarface, Two Arabian Knights, The Front Page, and The Outlaw(also director). Later he controlled the RKO film studio. He formed the Hughes Aircraft Company in 1932, hiring numerous engineers and designers. He spent the rest of the 1930s setting multiple world air speed records and building the Hughes H-1 Racer and H-4 Hercules. He acquired and expanded Trans World Airlines and later acquired Air West, renaming it Hughes Airwest. In 1953, he launched the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Miami, Florida, and currently located in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
