Herbert Farjeon was born in London, England. He was a presenter of revues in London's West End, a theatre critic, lyricist, playwright, theatre manager and writer. He wrote several plays include: From A to Z(with Woody Allen), Friends, Spread It Abroad, The Two Bouquets, Nine Sharp, The Little Revue, Diversion and Light and Shade. His songs included "I've danced with a man, who's danced with a girl, who's danced with the Prince of Wales". He wrote several books include: Advertising April, Or the Girl(with Horace Horsnell), Heroes and Heroines(with Eleanor Farjeon), and Kings and Queens(with Eleanor Farjeon).
