Henry Cantwell Wallacewas was born in Rock Island, Illinois, USA. He was an American farmer, journalist, and politician who served as the Secretary of Agriculture from 1921 to 1924. He was editor of Wallaces' Farmer from 1916 to 1921. He earned a B.A. degree from Iowa State Agricultural College in 1892.
