Hannah Simone was born in London, England. She is a British-Canadian actress, former fashion model, VJ and television hostess. From May 2006 to November 2008, she worked as a VJ for MuchMusic in Canada, and is best known for portraying Cece Parekh on the Fox sitcom New Girl. At the age of 13, she was living in Cyprus and was working as a fashion model and was featured on the covers of a local fashion publication. At 16 years old, she lived in New Delhi, India, where she attended the American Embassy School. She studied at Ryerson University and the University of British Columbia, she became host of HGTV Canada's television show Space for Living for its first season. She earned a role hosting WCG Ultimate Gamer alongside Joel Gourdin on Syfy. Her role in several films include: Oldboy, Miss India America, Flock of Dudes, Folk Hero & Funny Guy, and Odd Squad.
