George Horace Lorimer was born in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. He was an American editor and author. He educated at Colby College and Yale University. He is best known as the editor-in-chief of The Saturday Evening Post. He served also as vice president, president, and chairman of Curtis Publishing Company, which publishes the Post. He wrote several books include: Old Gorgon Graham, The False Gods, and Letters from a self-made merchant to his son.
