Sir Geoffrey Cust Faber was born in Great Malvern, Malvern, United Kingdom. He was a British academic, publisher, and poet. He was educated at Rugby School and Christ Church, Oxford. In 1913 he joined the Oxford University Press. He was the founding editor of Faber and Gwyer, one of the most celebrated of literary publishing houses.
