Felix Alba-Juez was born in Burgos, Spain. He is an Argentinean professsor, Researcher, and writer. In 1974, he graduated in Electrical Engineering at the 'Universidad Nacional del Sur' in Argentina. From 1974 to1983, he was Adjunct, Associate, and Full Professor at the 'Universidad Nacional de San Juan' in Argentina. Since 1983, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow and later on Research Associate for the Department of Metallurgy at the University of Utah, conducting basic Research and Development on Optimal Control of Mineral Grinding Operations. In 1987, he founded his consulting company working over the years with DuPont, ALCOA, US Department of Transportation, NASA, Dow Chemical and others. He has written several books include: Galloping with Light and Records of the Future.
