Through an acting career that spanned 57 years, Wray attained international renown as an actress in horror movie roles. She was one of the first "scream queens". Her role in several films include: King Kong, The Coast Patrol, The Most Dangerous Game, Doctor X, Mystery of the Wax Museum, The Vampire Bat, The Wedding March, Viva Villa!, Tammy and the Bachelor, Woman in the Dark, The Bowery, One Sunday Afternoon, Adam Had Four Sons, The Finger Points, Behind the Make-Up, Thunderbolt, Summer Love, Queen Bee, and Small Town Girl.
