Denene Millner is an American writer, editor, and journalist. She graduated with a B.A. in communications from Hofstra University. She was a reporter for the Associated Press and a political and entertainment reporter for the New York Daily News. She was an editor at Honey and Parenting, where she worked as an editor and, later, as a columnist. She has written 22 books of fiction and non-fiction. She has written three novels and three books of non-fiction with her husband Nick Chiles, including Love Don't Live Here Anymore and What Brothers Think, What Sistahs Know, both Essence bestsellers.
