• It is always weird to be in the studio working on Christmas music in June and July, so we decorated the entire studio, we really did. David Wesley "Dave" Haywood was born in Augusta, Georgia. He is an American guitarist, pianist, singer and songwriter. He is one-third of the band Lady Antebellum, in which he plays guitar, piano and mandolin, and sings backing vocals. He attended college at the University of Georgia where he graduated in 2004.
