He is known for his work as a journalist, Conservative political advisor, UKIP political candidate, and for his invention of the mathematical puzzle Eternity. He was educated at Harrow School and Churchill College, Cambridge, where he received a B.A., and at University College, Cardiff, where he obtained a diploma in journalism studies.
