Charles Lee Lesher was born in Wichita, Kansas. He is An American writer. His debut novel, Evolution's Child - Earthman, is the first book in the Shadow War trilogy. The novel received Best of Lunar Fiction from the Lunar Library. His recently released western novel, Bad Day on the Verde, is a story of violence and brutality, of sudden frontier justice, but also of courage and enduring love. Chuck also wrote a non-fiction book, Out of the Cradle, listing some of the numerous environmental concerns facing the world today with a focus on where we will get our electricity when the oil and coal are gone. He earned a BS in Engineering Mechanics-Aerospace from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters in Materials Science from Arizona State University. During his years working as an engineer at Orbital Sciences, he launched small sounding rockets from Canada, Mexico, Europe and many places across America.
