Céline Buckens was born in Brussels, Belgium. She is a Belgian teen actress. She played Émilie in Steven Spielberg's War Horse, a role she won after only two auditions. Buckens plays Émilie, a young French girl who lives on a farm with her grandfather after she lost her parents and brother in the war. She now studies History at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
