Cass Robert Sunstein was born in Concord, Massachusetts. He is an American author, professor and legal scholar, particularly in the fields of constitutional law, administrative law, environmental law, and law and behavioral economics, who was the Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Obama administration. For 27 years, he taught at the University of Chicago Law School. He is currently the Robert Walmsley University Professor and Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. He graduated in 1972 from Middlesex School and in 1975 with a B.A. from Harvard College. In 1978, he received a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School. He is co-author of the bestseller “Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth, and Happiness” and recently published the book“Simpler: The Future of Government”.
