During ‘Saturday Night Fever’ at the end of the first act dance number I tried to perform a split-jump, only I can’t do them so I ended up on my ass followed by the most unsightly backward roll out of it, followed by the cast falling over in laughter and a good portion of the audience too.

Adam Garcia is an Australian actor and tap dancer. Garcia was born in Wahroonga, New South Wales, Australia and is of half Colombian descent. His father is from Colombia. Garcia left university to take the role of the Slide in the production of the musical Hot Shoe Shuffle, which toured Australia for two years before transferring to London, England. Garcia stayed on in London to act in West End musicals. In 2006-07, he starred as Fiyero in the original London production of Wicked alongside Idina Menzel and Helen Dallimore. He previously played the role during the show's early Broadway workshops in 2000. During the Summer of 2012, Garcia appeared in Kiss Me Kate opening in the Chichester Festival Theatre from 18 June 2012 to 1 September 2012. Kiss Me Kate is directed by Trevor Nunn, choreographed by Stephen Meare and Score by Cole Poter. Kiss me Kate will open on West End in The Old Vic from 20 November 2012.
