Anas Alhajji, Ph.D. joined NGP Energy Capital Management in 2008 as Chief Economist. In this newly created role, Dr. Alhajji leads the firm's macro-analysis of the oil, natural gas and related markets and the overall economic environment. Prior to joining NGP he served as a professor of Economics at the University of Oklahoma , the Colorado School of Mines  and, most recently, Ohio Northern University where he held the George Patton Chair of Business and Economics and taught courses in energy economics & policy, and international economics.
