John Peter Callahan was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA. He is an American actor known for his work as Edmund Grey on the daytime soap opera All My Children. His role in several films include: Marvin's Room, Lost in the Woods, eCupid, and Do It or Die. His role in television include: Falcon Crest (TV series), Watch Over Me (TV series), Dinocroc vs. Supergator (TV film), and Sharkansas Women's Prison Massacre (TV film). He was married to Linda Freeman from 1982 to 1994. He married his All My Children co-star Eva LaRue in 1996. They have a daughter, Kaya McKenna, born in 2001. They have since divorced.
