She has written several novels include: Squashed, Thwonk, Sticks, Rules of the Road (Golden Kite Award for Fiction, LA Times Book Prize), Backwater, Hope Was Here (John Newbery Medal), Peeled, Close to Famous, Almost Home, and Soar.
