Frank Edward Peretti was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He is a Canadian author and novelist. He is a New York Times best-selling author of Christian fiction. He raised in Seattle, Washington for most of his life. He was a natural storyteller who, as a child in Seattle, regularly told stories to neighborhood children. He is best known for his novels This Present Darkness and The Oath. He has written other novels include: Piercing the Darkness, Prophet, The Visitation, and Monster.
