Brenda Johnson Padgitt was born in Dallas, Texas. She is an American author, educator and volunteer. She received her education from the Dallas and Wharton, Texas school systems. She graduated from Government, Law, and Law Enforcement Magnet High School in Dallas. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from UTA in Arlington, Texas. Brenda is also an experienced educator who has taught and tutored Pre-K through College. Brenda has served as a Sunday school teacher since age 18. In the community, Brenda has served as a volunteer to organizations that help AIDS, HIV, and Syphilis patients.
