Nicholas Thomas Wright is a retired Anglican bishop and a leading New Testament scholar. He is published as N. T. Wright when writing academic work, or Tom Wright when writing for a more popular readership. Wright was the Bishop of Durham in the Church of England from 2003 until his retirement in 2010.
